The NPIA Missing Persons Bureau acts as the centre for the exchange of information connected with the search for missing persons nationally and internationally.

The unit focuses on cross matching missing persons with unidentified persons, unidentified bodies or body parts. If you have an unidentified body or body part please notify the MPB within 48 hours in addition to notifying your regional police force.

Our trained staff will search our national missing person database to see if there are any potential matches to any currently outstanding missing persons.
