PTRLDP: Advanced Facilitation in Practice

Who Should Attend?


Experienced trainers who are looking to develop and enhance their existing skills in relation to facilitation.

Course / Module entry requirements


Delegates attending this module will be experienced trainers, in possession of a Trainer Development Programme Certificate or equivalent qualification at Level 3 or above.

They will also have completed the Police Race and Diversity Learning and Development Programme (PRDLDP) Diversity and the Police e-learning or workbook.

  • Strategies for dealing with challenging situations in the learning environment

Aims


To enable learners to develop their skills in relation to facilitation of learning sessions, especially in relation to challenging situations.

Objectives


This module will enable learners to:

  • explain the leadership role of the facilitator
  • demonstrate and apply advanced communication techniques and facilitation skills
  • address challenging behaviour of learners.
