OSPRE® Assessor Course

Who Should Attend?


Anyone who wishes to become involved in the National Police Promotion Assessment Centres for Sergeants and Inspectors.

Course / Module entry requirements


In order to attend an OSPRE® Assessor Course delegates are required to pass a competency based application process. Please contact us if you are interested in applying.

NB: Applicants from police forces must be of the rank of substantive Sergeant or above in order to apply for this role.

Methods of delivery

This course involves classroom based sessions. Delegates will be required to demonstrate competence in assessing and role acting during the five day course.

Delegates will only become qualified as an OSPRE® Assessor/Role Actor once they have demonstrated competence on a live OSPRE® Part II assessment centre site.

Additional Information

The course is based on the Integrated Competency Framework as these are the competencies assessed in the Assessment Centres.

Cost to HO Forces

There is no charge for attendance on the course via the application process. Please call for details.

Cost to non HO Forces

£7,000 per course or £500 per delegate
