Who Should Attend?


Experienced trainers and assessors who will be assessing in force for the Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

Course / Module entry requirements


Delegates attending this module will be experienced trainers and assessors, with a Trainers' Development Programme Certificate or equivalent qualification at Level 3 or above.  There is not a requirement for participants to hold D32/33, A1 or L20 but they must understand the principles and practices of work-based assessment.

Aims


To enable learners to develop their skills in relation to assessing against the standards for the Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.

Objectives


This module will enable learners to:

  • Explain the relationship between PTRLDP and the CTLLS qualification.
  • Demonstrate and apply assessment knowledge and skills to the CTLLS assignments.
  • Explain the submission processes for the CTLLS modules.
  • Explain the process of National Moderation.
