We recognise that there is a difference between conducting investigations and managing and supervising investigators. In conjunction with Skills for Justice the programme team have drafted some new National Occupational Standards that address this gap. The standards are available to download and the PIP programme team would appreciate feedback on their suitability. An explanatory table has been produced which provides an explanation of how the standards could be applied for practitioners.Draft National Occupational Standards for the Supervision and Management of Investigations.
