Overview

A 29 module (by subject) programme to address the generic expected learning needs of a PCSO. Supported by student notes, trainer guidance and some case study materials.

The disparate deployment and power allocation of the PCSO role nationally will require individual forces to 'pick and mix' content appropriate to them. This can be enhanced with local materials to address learning needs.

Aims

To equip PCS0s with the required knowledge and understanding to perform the role including 'threaded' and specific attention to attitude and diversity issues.

Objectives

Each subject module has a list of learning outcomes.
