On Monday and Tuesday visiting lecturer Mervin Edwards presented the topic Operational Policing Prospect.  This was a lecturer for the first session but after lunch we worked in groups on a project entitled Protest in the Thames Valley Region. A real life project was prepared for presentation on the Tuesday. 

The next two days featured a very informative presentation by Ray Bell on the IT subjects Excel and PowerPoint.  These can be used in preparing documents for presentation to senior managers or other authorities.

On the Wednesday evening some of the course members visited the cinema in Basingstoke and on the Thursday some went bowling, also in Basingstoke.

Friday consisted of a review of the lectures of the week.
