2012 Application Window

The Senior Police Staff Assessment Process application window for 2012 is as follows:

2012 Assessment Centre

The dates for the Senior Police Staff Assessment Process 2012 intakes, which will take place at NPIA Bramshill, are as follows:

Intake 1	24 November - 27 November 2012  Candidates Required:  23 November (evening) - 27 November 2012
Intake 2	29 November - 2 December 2012  Candidates Required:  28 November (evening) - 2 December 2012
Intake 3	4 December - 7 December 2012  Candidates Required:  3 December (evening) - 7 December 2012

2011 Assessment Centre

All Intakes of the Senior Police Staff Assessment Process 2011 took place in September at NPIA Bramshill and all candiates have now been informed of their result. Below is the documentation provided to candidates for your reference and interest:

2011 Open Days

The three 2011 Open Days have now taken place.  To view videos of the Presentations delivered at the Bramshill Open Day, and access the handouts please visit the 2011 Open Day page.

Strategic Command Course

The assessment process is open to police staff of an equivalent grade to superintendent and above. Individuals who are successful at the Senior Police Staff Assessment Process will be invited to attend the Strategic Command Course (SCC).

Reasonable Adjustment

Please consult our Reasonable Adjustment Policy which outlines the process by which candidates with a disability may apply for reasonable adjustment for the Senior Police Staff Assessment Process for the Strategic Command Course. This includes candidates with a specific learning difficulty (SpLD). To apply for a reasonable adjustment for the Senior Police Staff Assessment Process, candidates are required to complete a Notification of Intention to Apply for
Reasonable Adjustment Form. You must complete a new form for each year of application and submit it to the Team.  If you wish to speak with an occupational psychologist Team Member regarding reasonable adjustments please telephone 01423 876 608 and we will arrange for someone to discuss your circumstances with you.

Results and Analysis Reports from Previous Processes

The data collected following each assessment process is analysed and a detailed report is produced.  The Full Report and the Executive Summary from 2010 and 2009 are available for your reference:
