Positive Action Leadership Programme (PALP) for Senior Leaders - Moving On!

This course replaces the Leadership Development for Senior Women course.

This exciting new programme sets out to work with members of under represented groups who have reached the rank of Chief Inspector, Superintendent, Chief Superintendent or police staff grade equivalent.

The overall aim of the programme is to inspire individuals from minority groups, Gender, BME, LGBT etc. to achieve their potential and improve representation at Chief Officer level in the service.

The course is personality based and as such uses tools and techniques to improve self awareness, understand personality types, the impact of those around us and the manner in which we react to them. It explores your 'Personal Brand', 'Emotional Intelligence' and 'Personal Performance'.

It has a networking evening with Chief Officers, a coaching and mentoring input and de mystifies the Senior Police National Assessment Centre (SPNAC) and the Strategic Command Course.

Delegates also have an input from the National Careers Advisory Service (NSCAS) and the method of engaging a personal development advisor.
