Who Should Attend?
This module forms part of the SLP and is aimed at newly promoted superintendents , and equivalent staff holding senior management positions.
Course / Module entry requirements
Applications for the Senior Leadership Programme must be sent to Customer Support via Force Training Manager or equivalent and all nominees:
- Must be superintendent rank or police staff equivalent
- Ideally have completed the NPIA Foundation for Senior Leaders Programme
- Have the full backing and support of their Chief Officer

Methods of delivery
This module will be delivered using pre-course learning, followed by a workshop with subject matter experts, facilitated discussions, presentations and critical analysis by experienced officers, staff and stakeholders based on a developing scenario.

Overview
The overall aim of the core Senior Leadership Programme is to provide a structured leadership development programme, delivering career critical professional, executive and business policing skills, to enable high performing senior leaders of the 21st century. Prior to commencing the three 'career critical' modules within the Senior Leadership Programme, delegates are required to complete the Induction and EDHR in Action.
Aims
To develop the knowledge and skills of learners so that they are able to undertake strategic command of demanding policing incidents and operations.
Objectives
