Overview
The Aims:
- To provide an overview of the terrorist threat of the use of CBRN materials and the emergency services' capability for responding to a CBRN event
- To provide a briefing to UK airports on the national Home Office program for developing CBRN site specific plans - the Argon Program
- To understand the unique challenges involved in responding to a CBRN event at an airport
- To present a template for multi agency CBRN site specific planning at airports developed by Stansted Airport in partnership with the Home Office
- To provide an opportunity for airport planners to network with those leading on CBRN site specific planning both locally and nationally
The Audience:
This seminar is intended for those with responsibility for developing emergency plans at airports.
Booking Arrangements and Costs:
The Seminar is being funded by the Home Office and delivered by the Police National CBRN Centre. One free place is available for each airport which also includes dinner and overnight accommodation at NPIA, Ryton on Thursday 18th February 2010.
In addition, other delegates may attend the seminar on a free basis but would incur a charge of £52.90 (inc VAT) for dinner and overnight accommodation if required.
