Specials CASA (Candidate Administration System for Assessment) Training Course

Who Should Attend?


Attendees should be Police Staff/Special Officer with responsibility for maintaining the administrative procedures within Force Specials Recruitment Departments and will therefore hold responsibility for the system procedures detailed below:

  • Scanning candidate applicant data into the system
  • Progressing/entering CBQ results and feedback
  • Building an assessment process on the computerised system, allocating candidates dates and times
  • Scanning candidate responses during a live assessment process
  • Importing candidate results and  printing

It is recommended that the recruitment team manager is present during the course. Ideally these should be the same individuals that take part in the material handover event.

Training will be delivered on the same date as the Material Handover event. CASA training will occur in the afternoon.  Forces may wish to include a current CASA Contact for Police Constables in the Specials CASA Training.

The first course is currently free to Home Office forces. Subsequent courses will cost £550. Subsequent courses will start at 10am and conclude at 3pm.

Overview


The CASA System is used to progress and track an applicant from the application stage of the assessment through to completion of the Specials Assessment Process.

Aims


To provide delegates with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to manage the CASA (Candidate Administration System for Assessment) data management System and use it to its full potential, from tracking applications through the process to producing statistics.
