Overview


Enables Trainers to train others charged with the management of Violent and Sex Offenders, in the use of the ViSOR system to assist the police, probation services and other organisations.

Aims


Objectives


By the end of this course student will have covered the following subject areas:

  • The rules and relevant legislation governing Data Security and ViSOR access
  • How to navigate the ViSOR System
  • How to search for offenders records
  • The categories of information held within ViSOR and how to retrieve and interpret that information
  • How to input data into ViSOR
  • How to manage Nominal records (Diary, to do list)
  • How to retrieve and interpret the information contained within the audit log
