Police Training Roles

A modular programme that allows for a flexible approach to learning for all those involved in police training.

This programme provides the following features:

  • A modular design.
  • A blended approach to learning.
  • A values-based approach to learning.
  • Embedded race and diversity throughout.
  • Support for work-based learning and assessment.
  • Mapping of modular content to Skills for Justice Role Profiles and National Occupational Standards, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

The modular structure of our new programme allows for flexible attendance and completion of the learning.  There is no requirement to complete classroom-based activities in one block.  Modules are run at regular intervals during the year, and forces may enrol learners for individual modules, combinations of modules, or an entire programme, as appropriate to their prior experience and individual training needs.
