Advisory Unit

The Advisory Unit works in partnership with both UK and foreign Governments, as well as with international law enforcement agencies such as UNODC, Interpol and CEPOL.

Together we offer specialist operational policing advice, police leadership guidance and training and development expertise, in line with the UK Government's priorities.  Bespoke training programmes, designed to suit local needs, are delivered both here at Bramshill and in the client countries.

The Advisory Unit of the International Academy at Bramshill is made up of a team of Police Advisors - all with the rank of Superintendent.  Each Advisor is supported by a dedicated Liaison Officer for their geographical area. Bespoke training programmes, designed to suit local needs, are delivered both at Bramshill and in the countries that the NPIA works with.
