Public Order

We can provide operational support in relation to uniform policing incidents and events, as well as rapid response for the Police Service with regard to both national and international issues.

Our team comprises specialist personnel with professional knowledge, experience and expertise in all elements of public order policing. 

 We are available to provide on-site operational guidance and advice together with debriefing services that include:

  • Written guidance and advice through doctrine 
  • Strategic Advice
  • Telephone guidance and advice
  • Training and consultancy services.

We also act as an interface for ACPO, the Home Office and other national and overseas organisations, providing special projects support and policy advice. Close links have been formed with overseas forces and agencies, enabling good practice to be exchanged through doctrine.
