Senior Police National Assessment Centre

The Senior Police National Assessment Centre (Senior PNAC) is a process to identify the future leaders of the Police Service.

Superintendents and Chief Superintendents who aspire to ACPO/ACPOS rank are eligible to apply.  Candidates intending to apply for Senior PNAC 2009 should be 'ready now' to operate at chief officer level.

Senior PNAC will be delivered at NPIA Bramshill, over three intakes, on the following dates:

 Intake One  12-16 September 2009
 Intake Two  18-22 September 2009
 Intake Three  24-28 September 2009

The application process for 2009 closed on 30 June.

Officers who are successful at Senior PNAC will attend the Strategic Command Course (SCC).  Following success on the SCC officers will be eligible to apply for national chief officer roles.

During April and May, NPIA in association with the Scottish Police College delivered a series of Chief Officer Selection open days for potential candidates which were delivered at NPIA Harrogate, NPIA Ryton, NPIA Bramshill, Scottish Police College Tulliallan and PSNI.
