Since 2008, we have published a quarterly newsletter called The Bureau. This has now been re-launched as an electronic update document and will be circulated more regularly. Information for police can be accessed here. Police officers should join the Missing Persons Bureau community on the secure Police OnLine Knowledge Area (POLKA) website. You'll be able to access notification forms, guidance, practice advice and publications to help resolve your missing person investigations.

Missing Children and Adults conference 17 & 18 April 2012
Brought to you by Missing People, the Missing Persons Bureau, CEOP and the COMPACT User Group. To be held at Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry. The annual Missing Adults and Children conference is essential for practitioners and policy-makers who work on the issue of missing people, including delegates from law enforcement, social services and the voluntary sector. The conference will focus on themes outlined in the Missing Children and Adults Strategy recently published by the Home Office, including the prevention of people going missing, the protection of those who do go missing, and the provision of services for the families of missing people.If you would like more information on attending the conference, please email events@npia.pnn.police.uk.
